Docker is a container management system for creating, deploying, and running applications. Outside of HPC and ARC, docker is a well known tool for managing and deploying online services. Traditionally the restriction on root access with shared cluster computing has disqualified Docker as an HPC tool. However, with the increased availability of cloud based compute on demand, Docker is becoming another tool within the HPC & ARC skill set. This webinar will cover how to use docker and some of the available third party resources.
